Mail and weekend ponderings

This weekend I headed home for a couple of days which always means a lot of relaxing and hanging out with my family. On Saturday Mum and I baked up a storm; chocolate and caramel tarts and Chicken Carratone so delicious, I wish I had have taken photos.
Sunday was very lazy. Brendan and I went to Brunch at Tonic in the little village of Milthorpe. I had pancakes and my only criticism was that I didn't have enough syrup but overall they were very good. I then napped for most of the afternoon and today I am feeling refreshed and ready to go. Today I am planning on writing some letters, doing some reading for my thesis, going for a walk with my mum and then cooking Fettuccine Carbonara for dinner.
Yummy Pancakes!

  1. Going home is wonderful. Spending time with family and eating is even better! I had dinner with my family last week and we had so much fun just laughing together.
