Collect

I have always loved collecting unique jewelery but lately I have been keeping an eye out for vintage costume jewelery. My collection started when my grandfather gave me some of my nan's old jewelery which have become one of my most treasured possessions.

My collection has now extended to finding pieces at op shops and estate sales. The thing I love about collecting vintage jewelery is that each piece has a story behind it, even though I may not know the story it is always there.
Do you collect something? I would love to hear about it.

  1. You've got some great pieces there!

I collect pencils. I started collecting them in primary school when my principal gave out pencils as awards for good work. I now have a few hundrd from around the world. My favourite would probably be my silver pencil shaped like a hammer with the Binford Tools logo on it - my 90s fangirl squeals in delight. I used to love JTT!

  2. I love the jewellery in your collection. Fabulous :)

I collect many things, but most of those collections are complete, or rather I'm not adding to them because of space and money. None of my collections are as beautiful as yours though :)

  6. i love that your collection started from something so sentimental...

i too LOVE costume adornments. When i lived with my gf Katy, there was a garage sale across the street. I picked up a bunch of my favorite necklaces there and a sweet old lady was up at the front next to the cash register with her grown daughter working the actual register. Anyway, she (the sweet little old lady) wanted to see each piece that was sold and told me a little story about one necklace i was buying in particular. I promised her i would have my own little adventures now, just like she had.

i collect unique jewelry, (and really any vintage knick knacks), art, apple decor, and yes books! (primarily i always search for different versions of "lolita")

  20. I have been browsing online more than 3 hours today, yet I never found any interesting article like yours.

It is pretty worth enough for me. Personally,
if all webmasters and bloggers made good content as
you did, the internet will be much more useful than ever before.
