Just for fun...

Gracie from Gracie Bella Butterfly passed this award on to me and I thought the questions were pretty fun, plus I am trying to procrastinate from doing any work.

1. Why do you blog?
I like being able to document all the things in life that I love and the fun little adventures I get to have. I still classify myself as a "new" blogger and am still trying to find my blogging style, its definitely a work in progress but I feel as though I am getting there. What I love the most about blogging though is the incredible friends I have made from all over the world.

2. Name your three best memories...(this was hard as there is way more then three but for now...)
♥ Best Memory one - sleeping over at my nan's house when I was little while my grandpa was away. We would get in their big king size bed with a huge packet of chips and watch movies late into the night.
♥ Best Memory two - Seeing Brendan when he got back from Scotland after his gap year and realising he was the only man for me.
♥ Best Memory three - my trip to Europe last year with one of my besties.

3. Name 4 of the best fiction books you've read.
♥ - The Hunger Games (as introduced to me by Gracie)
♥ - Hating Alison Ashley (I grew up reading this book religiously)
♥ - April Fools Day - Bryce Courtney
♥ - Plain Truth - Jodi Picoult

4. What are the 5 best movies ever made?
♥ - Inception
♥ - Beaches
♥ - Law Abiding Citizen
♥ - Schindler's List
♥ - The Shawshank Redemption

5. Name 5 things you can't live without.
♥ - My laptop and the internet
♥ - Lucas' Paw paw cream (I stole this from Gracie but I really do love it)
♥ - Tea
♥ - Friends and family
♥ - Shopping

6. If you could change your name what would it be?
I love the name Gemima, I always wanted something really unique but i love my name now.

7. Tell us a unique and interesting fact about yourself....
I wanted to be an actress, up until I was about 19. I loved acting at school and was always involved with the drama department. I wanted desperately to get involved in tv but then I got sidetracked with uni and haven't been involved with the drama community for nearly five years. I would love to get back into it.

8. What do you love most about yourself?
I am a good observer, I am good at reading people and listening to them. I think it helps me be a better daughter, sister, lover, friend etc

9. If you had a 'Freaky Friday' experience, who would you change places with?
Oh this is a good question... probably Oprah, I love her and would be happy to help her spend some of that moolah she has.

10. What is the best thing about being a woman?
I think the way we support each other and can celebrate each others achievements. Sometimes I think we waste to much time being intimidated by successful women but instead we should embrace each other and see what we can learn from one another. On a more material level lipstick, high heels, dresses, pedicures etc.

I wanted to pass this award onto some of my new followers and some new bloggers that I have started to follow:

I would love to hear your answers to some of these questions in the comments if you want to play along :-) Now time to watch my favourite show (ok, one of) Offspring.

  1. Oooh, thank you so much! I will get onto this asap!

What did you think of Delta's 'Hating Alison Ashley'?

I love the name Jemima/Gemima. My next-door-neighbour is called Jemima and she is the cutest thing ever.

  2. Awww thank you for tagging me :-) I love reading these, and they are also so fun to fill out!

As far as your movies go... does someone have a little crush on Leonardo Dicaprio? ;-) I wouldn't blame you. I LOVED Inception... and I also loved Law Abiding Citizen. It was so intense and SO good, and I happen to have a bit of a celebrity crush on Gerard Butler for sure. Haha.
