Tattoo

I have always wanted a tattoo. It is not a decision that I have made lightly as I feel there is still a social stigma attatched to tattoos, which is unfortunate. I decided that if I really wanted a tattoo I had to choose a design and then wait a year to see if I still liked it. A tattoo is for life so I figured waiting a year in the grand scheme of things isnt very long. Well a year has passed and I am still really happy with what I have choosen and now I am going to start saving to actually get the tattoo and start researching tattoo artists in my area.
So what am I getting.... a Baboshka doll! My friend drew this up for me on the weekend and now I just need to finalise colours. I am getting it on my upper back on the right hand side. Hopefully it won't be too long before I can show you the finished product.

  3. Katyha, I have always loved Baboshka dolls. My grandparents gave me one when I was little and it is one of the first toys I remember receiving. It reminds me of family. Tez I would love to know what you have?

  7. That's really cute! Good idea waiting a year too, when I was younger I wanted 'love' in Japanese tattooed somewhere on my body. I had the idea that if I could figure out a place and stick with it for long enough, I'd go get it done - but I could never decide (foot, lower back, base of my neck etc etc). In the end, I couldn't decide so I decided not to get one. You are a lot more decisive than me!!

  9. so fun and lovely and you can play with so many colours. if i can make one suggestion regarding the placement of your tattoo...i have one on my upper right shoulder and i wish wish wish it was in the centre of my back. when i wear certain outfits it shows or partly shows when i don't want it too. (of course i wear some stuff where it shows on purpose!)

  12. That will make an AWESOME tattoo! I'll never, ever get one though. Too scared! If I had the guts, I'd get a little maple leaf (O Canada!) on my ankle.

  14. I love it and think it's definitely you. I can't wait to see it! Jason's dad is a tattooist. If you could get to Bathurst (lol) he has his studio there :)

And as for the job, I didn't get it :( but it's alright I didn't think I would with like 50 people going for the one job.
