Bigger is better

Costume jewellery is one of my weaknesses. I have posted my vintage jewellery collection on the blog before and thought I would show another part of my collection today. It is not very often you will find me not wearing rings; they are probably my favourite piece of jewellery. I am of the persuasion that bigger is better and am usually donning a ginormous ring on one of my fingers. After you get use to the general feeling of lopsidedness your ready for action. What piece of jewellery do you not leave the house without?

P.S I am currently in the process of updating my blogroll if you would like to check it out there is lots of great blogs on there.

  1. Those are lovely :) You really have a great collection. I wish I wore big rings (or more jewellery for that matter).

The only jewellery I'm always wearing is my wedding and engagement ring, another ring from Jason and my Tiffany necklace :)

  3. Their so lovely Megan! I never leave the house without my engagement ring. It's the only piece of jewellery I actually take care of and wear EVERY DAY! I am not to be trusted with other jewellery unless it's just cheap jewellery.

  5. Oh my, such lovely rings! I have a weak spot for them myself. I would buy those really big, gorgeous ones if they wouldn't swallow the entirety of my petite hands. :( I'm forever eyeing the YSL arty though, hihi. If only it didn't cost so much!

I never leave home without a simple silver necklace given to me by a very dear friend. I feel like I'm walking around naked without it :))

  11. I *love* big rings and you have some beauties there! All of the ones in the third photograph are divine. :) I also collect costume jewelry. I have acquired quite a bit of my grandma's collection as she is the master garage-saler and thrifter. Thanks for your suggestions about NYC, I will be sure to post about my trip and what was good/bad so you can see what I thought.

PS- I'm so honored to be on your blogroll, you are too sweet!

  12. I've always wanted a nice collection of big rings. I'm afraid that now that I've got an Etsy shop going, I'll be spending any money I make on rings and things! They're so lovely.

  25. Aah. I'm actually really bad at wearing rings. Meaning I try to wear them and then part way through my day get annoyed with them and end up taking them off. But I love them and love looking at bloggers' ring collections.

  26. This collection is fantastic! I love it! I love big necklaces as much as you love big rings, it would seem :) Is teal/turquoise still your favourite colour?

  27. Would you like to swap jewelry sometime? Cause my collection consists mostly of broken earrings and a few wobbly rings. ;)

But I'm sooo with you on the bigger is better jewelry theory! I always assume that the larger my jewelry is...the smaller I'll look...right? :)
