October Blogger of the Month: I-Zilla The Terrible

I am so happy to introduce the lovely Iris as the October Blogger of the month. Iris is such a wonderful person and super creative I always love reading about her baking and crafting. I especially loved her recent post that really hits the nail on the head when it comes down to the importance of being yourself when it comes to blogging which you can read here

Location: Sacramento, California, USA

Describe your self in five words?
I’m a silly, nerdy, creative, impatient baker

How would you spend your perfect Sunday?
Sometimes when you have an event filled Sunday it makes it seem like the weekend came and went too fast so I like to relax and take it slow. Just lay in bed, watching tv or movies, or maybe go for a walk.

What is something you are loving right now?
Shoes. I’m obsessed right now and I’m not sure I have any more room in my closet to accommodate this newest addiction. I just bought a pair of gold glitter heels. I can’t wait for them to get here!

Why did you start blogging? And any tips for bloggers just starting out?
I was curious. It looked fun and it’s been an amazing creative outlet. I wasn’t sure I had anything important to say, but it was important to me so it was worth saying. For you new bloggers don’t be afraid to make friends. Read lots of blogs, introduce yourself, connect with those with similar interests. Most importantly you have to be yourself. I recently lost my way and I feel so much better starting fresh and staying true to myself. Instead of getting caught up in being popular, get caught up in enjoying life and sharing it with the world.

And final words of wisdom....
All problems can be solved with a cupcake...or bacon. Both always cheer me up! Don’t even get me started on maple bacon cupcakes...

  1. What lovely words :) And cute shoes!

  2. She's so adorable. :) Glad you featured her!

  3. Cool post!

  4. And what about cupcakes with bacon?? :D

  5. She is super cute!

  6. Hello! I realize this is somewhat off-topic but I had to ask.
Does operating a well-established blog such as yours require a large amount of work?
I'm brand new to writing a blog but I do write in my diary everyday. I'd like
to start a blog so I can share my own experience and views
online. Please let me know if you have any kind of ideas
or tips for brand new aspiring bloggers.
    Appreciate it!
