I meet a photographer on the weekend who told me that shooting people against a green back drop is a big no-no. The red skirt and green background is probably an even bigger no-no. However this is one of my favourite places to take photos in the morning so I am not quite ready to give it up just yet. I bought this skirt in the Christmas sales and was tossing up between the red and an aqua colour. I am glad I went with red as this will easily transition into Autumn. I cannot believe Summer is coming to an end already.

  5. knowing the rules normally means that you know when you break them :)
red and green are opposing colours so the contrast is perfect anyway...

I love the skirt, it looks perfect to twirl in and great with the black and white too

  9. The twirl is the cutest thing! I love that outfit. The red skirt just pops and you look amazing in it. By the way I'm jealous of the way you can wear a fringe.

Apparently we're supposed to get some more hot weather in March, so Summer might not be over just yet :)
