dress: time after tea vintage // shoes/bag: sportsgirl // hat: asos

On Saturday I went to my first garage sale on the hunt for some new vintage clothes for the shop. I pinpointed this garage sale as the girl mentioned in her ad that she was closing down her vintage store. It was such good luck as I never look at the garage sale listings – maybe I should from now on.

I found lots of lovely things and this yellow dress especially caught my eye (plus it’s the only one I bought in my size), I knew I wanted to snap some photos before I put this baby up for sale. Yellow dresses are perfect for summer and transitioning into Autumn. I am imagining this dress with navy tights and brown boots.

These were the last photos I took before the camera disaster of 2013 which involved me dropping my canon straight on its lens face and breaking the lens. At first I thought I had broke the whole camera but it ended up just being the lens  – ‘just the lens’ still sucks but not as bad as the whole camera. I decided to replace the lens straight away and pretend it never happened. After breaking my iPhone screen two weeks ago I hope this isn’t a sign of things to come....

  1. Lovely, lovely dress. I adore yellow but unfortunately it doesn't match my skin tone (or my hair colour, for that matter). Cést la vie!

  5. Oh no!!! I'm sure now you've done the camera and phone though that's it for the year. That dress is gorgeous! I am loving yellow at the moment too but unfortunately my yellow bag is about as close as I'm gonna get to it. It seems to clash with orange hair haha!

  7. That dress looks soo pretty on you. It's a shame you have to give it up :) I'm glad it was only your lens and not your whole camera (I thought I broke my camera in the US and we were thinking we might have to use our travel insurance to get it fixed but it fixed itself). I love the dandelion photo too. x

I love the dress and I'm suitably jealous of your weather, it is freezing here!

  11. Gorgeous photos, especially the last one - you're looking so tanned! Oh gosh that must have been traumatic, breaking your camera lens. Best to just replace and forget haha :) PS can't believe I wasn't following you until now? Oops :)
