Wardrobe additions V3 :: Jo Mercer Ballet Flats

A mortgage really puts a dent in the shopping budget, not that i am complaining as its definitely worth it, but I have definitely realised that now, more than ever, I need to make smarter shopping decisions. I want to shift my focus towards a functional wardrobe filled with pieces I love rather then things bought on a whim and then barely worn.

I have spoken about how much I like Jo Mercer shoes before, their comfortable, good quality and seem to last for a long time. I had been eyeing off these flats for a while now and they finally made it home with me this weekend. So how did these shoes fit into the budget – well they are practical (I wear flats to death), neutral enough that they go with a lot of my pre-existing wardrobe and most importantly on massive sale!

The silver flats are sparkly but not too over the top that they can’t be worn as a casual shoe (or maybe that’s just me!). They did give me blisters the first time I wore them but I think that is because they are a hard leather and need to be worn in.

The nude ballet flats were an easy option as I love a good nude shoe because you can wear them with virtually anything but the bows make them a little bit fun.

Check them out here if you want to nab yourself a pair, they actually have an extra 25% off since I bought them, always the way!!
